Figure 1: Experimental setup. Two thin $\text{Fe}$ contacts are laid along the $\text{InGaAs}$ channel. An in-plane field is applied to align the spin accumulation along the magnetization of the $\text{Fe}$ contacts. The measured signal $V_a-V_b$ is then further symmetrized to extract the spin Hall effect signal, which changes sign with magnetic field and the orientation of the parallel configuration of the magnetization of the $\text{Fe}$ strips.
