Boris Svistunov
Boris Svistunov is a Professor of Physics at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His research deals with ultracold gases, superfluidity and supersolidity, strongly correlated systems, and the theory and practice of quantum Monte Carlo methods.
Chaotic matter waves formed by perturbing a Bose-Einstein condensate may provide a valuable laboratory setting for understanding many different kinds of quantum-fluid turbulence.
