Gary T. Horowitz

Gary T. Horowitz is a Distinguished Professor of Physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a theoretical gravitational physicist exploring quantum gravity and gravitational aspects of string theory. Professor Horowitz is a fellow of the American Physical Society, and a member of both the National Academy of Science and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.  He is the current President of the International Society on General Relativity and Gravitation.
