Georg Held
Georg Held received a Ph.D. in physics from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, in 1994. He was a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Cambridge, UK (1994–1995) and staff scientist at the Universities of Würzburg and Erlangen, Germany (1995–2001). From 2001 to 2006 he was a lecturer in Physical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK, and since 2006 he has been a reader in Surface Science at the Department of Chemistry, at the University of Reading, UK. His research concentrates on studying structures and reactivities of bio-related surfaces.
