Horatiu Nastase
Horatiu Nastase received his Ph.D. from SUNY Stony Brook, US, in 2000. After postdoctoral research at the Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, US, (2000–2002), and at Brown University (2002–2006), he joined the faculty at the Tokyo Institute of Technology’s “Global Edge Institute” in Tokyo, Japan, where he is now an Assistant Professor. His research deals mostly with string theory and supergravity, and its connections to gauge theories like QCD (the “AdS/CFT correspondence”).
