John Nichol is a postdoctoral researcher in the department of physics at Harvard University. He earned a B.A. from St. Olaf College and a Ph.D. in physics in 2013 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he studied force-detected nanoscale magnetic resonance imaging. His current research focuses on quantum information processing and metrology using solid-state spin qubits.
