M. Krusius

Matti Krusius is a researcher in the Low Temperature Laboratory of Aalto University, Finland. He has been studying extensively the helium-3 superfluids with a rotating refrigerator. Currently his work deals with superfluid dynamics in the zero temperature limit. The subject of the present viewpoint, the A phase of superfluid helium-3, has never been studied in rotation at these very low temperatures (in fact never below 0.5Tc). The dream is to make such exploration possible.

Superfluidity

Coherent quantum states of different chirality have been formed and identified in the A phase of superfluid helium-3, confirming previous theoretical predictions.
