Michael L. Cherry

Michael Cherry received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in 1978. He then worked with the gamma-ray astronomy group at the University of New Hampshire and the particle astrophysics group at the University of Pennsylvania. In 1988, he moved to Louisiana State University, where he is a member of the high-energy astrophysics group and chair of the Department of Physics and Astronomy. His research has involved measurements of high-energy cosmic rays, neutrinos, and gamma rays.
