Michael E. Peskin
Michael Peskin received his Ph.D. from Cornell University in 1978. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard, Centre d’Etudes Nucléaires, Saclay, and at Cornell. He joined the faculty of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center in 1982. Michael’s research concerns models of new physics at the energy scale of weak interactions—technicolor, supersymmetry, extra dimensions, and all the rest—and methods for studying these models at high-energy particle colliders. With Daniel Schroeder, he is an author of the textbook An Introduction to Quantum Field Theory.
