Nazmi Burak Budanur is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Science and Technology (IST), Austria. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015, where he worked on the roles of exact coherent structures in spatiotemporal chaos. His interests include continuous symmetries of dynamical systems, relative invariant solutions, and describing dynamical systems with periodic orbit theory. He currently develops methods to compute unstable manifolds of relative invariant solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations.
