Nick G. Parker

Nick Parker is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Mathematics at Newcastle University and a member of the Joint Quantum Centre (JQC) Durham-Newcastle. After gaining a Ph.D. in 2005 from Durham University, he worked at the University of Melbourne, McMaster University, and the University of Leeds. At McMaster University he held a Canadian-Commonwealth Fellowship. His research interests span quantum fluids, acoustics, and theoretical biology, and he has authored an introductory textbook on quantum fluids. Honors include being a Chartered Physicist, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne.
