Ron Jansen

Ron Jansen is a prime senior scientist at the Spintronics Research Center of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) in Tsukuba, Japan. He obtained his Ph.D. at Nijmegen University in the Netherlands and worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA, as a postdoctoral associate and at the University of Twente, Netherlands, as a professor and group leader. He has worked since 1991 on electronic transport, spintronics, and nanoscience. The current focus is on semiconductor spintronics.
