Adolfo del Campo is a professor of physics at the University of Luxembourg. He received his PhD in 2008 from the University of Basque Country. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Imperial College London and Ulm University, Germany, and a J. Robert Oppenheimer Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico. Before joining the University of Luxembourg, he was a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Boston and at the Donostia International Physics Center, Spain. His research explores universal nonequilibrium phenomena and quantum information geometry, including quantum phase transitions, shortcuts to adiabaticity, quantum speed limits, and quantum chaos.
