Carmelo Evoli is a theoretical astroparticle physicist. He holds a position as associate professor at the Gran Sasso Science Institute in Italy and he is an active member of the Pierre Auger Collaboration. His research focuses on cosmic rays, complemented by extensive studies in gamma-ray and neutrino astrophysics, with the aim of advancing the understanding of Galactic and extragalactic cosmic-ray sources through a multimessenger approach.
