Daan Frenkel

Daan Frenkel is Professor of Theoretical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge, UK. His research focuses on numerical simulations of many-body systems, with a special emphasis on problems relating to ordering and self-assembly. He received his training at the University of Amsterdam and, subsequently worked at UCLA, Shell Research, Utrecht University, the FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics, and the University of Amsterdam.
