Demetri Christodoulides received his Ph.D. degree in 1986. He subsequently joined Bellcore as a postdoctoral fellow and then the faculty of electrical engineering at Lehigh University. Since 2002, he has been with CREOL, The College of Optics and Photonics at the University of Central Florida, where he is currently a Provost’s Distinguished Research Professor.
