Elisa Todarello is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nottingham, UK, specializing in theoretical astrophysics. She earned her PhD from the University of Florida and has held research positions at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, and the University of Turin, Italy. Her research centers on astrophysical signatures of axions and axion-like particles, exploring their potential role as dark matter and products of astrophysical processes. She coleads the Weakly Interacting Slim Particles (WISPs) in Astrophysics working group as part of the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Action, COSMIC WISPers (CA21106).
