Gal Shavit is a Sherman Fairchild Postdoctoral Scholar Research Associate in Theoretical Physics at Caltech. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Tel-Aviv University and his PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. His research interests revolve around novel phenomena in strongly interacting quantum materials, including unconventional superconductivity, quantum geometric many-body effects, and out-of-equilibrium processes in highly tunable quantum matter.
