Gianluigi Catelani

Gianluigi Catelani is a research scientist at the JARA Institute for Quantum Information of the Juelich Research Center, Germany. Born in Italy, he earned his B.S. at the University of Trento. He obtained his Ph.D. from Columbia University and worked in the US as a researcher until he moved to Germany in 2012. His research interests are in theoretical mesoscopic physics and superconductivity, with an emphasis on decoherence in superconducting qubits.
