Gregory Penn is a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), in Berkeley, California, USA. Since receiving a Ph.D. in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1998, he has worked at the University of California Berkeley, at CERN, and at LBNL. His current research focuses on analytic and computational studies in accelerator physics, free-electron lasers, and plasmas.
