Hendrik Bentmann is an associate professor in experimental physics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. He is a primary investigator at the Center for Quantum Spintronics (QuSpin) at NTNU. After obtaining his master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin and his PhD degree at the University of Würzburg, Germany, he has been principal investigator at the Center for Topological and Correlated Electronics at Surfaces and Interfaces (ToCoTronics) in Würzburg. He uses photoelectron spectroscopy to study topological and collective phenomena in complex materials.
