Ivan Di Terlizzi is a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Germany. He earned his PhD in physics from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2021, where he worked under the supervision of Marco Baiesi. His research spans stochastic thermodynamics, information theory, and the nonequilibrium dynamics of driven systems, with a particular focus on single-molecule experiments using optical tweezers. Recently, he has expanded his interests to include data analysis and machine learning, with applications in genomics and focusing on both bulk and single-cell sequencing data.
