John M. Dudley

Originally from Otahuhu in New Zealand, John Dudley received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Auckland in 1992. After working in Scotland and New Zealand, he was appointed Professor at the University of Franche-Comté, France, in 2000. He was named a member of the Institut Universitaire de France in 2005 and was elected a Fellow of the Optical Society of America in 2007. He is the author of over 100 major research papers, and has presented numerous invited talks at major international conferences, workshops, and summer schools.
