John Raymond has been a physicist at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian since obtaining his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1976. His interests include inferring the physical processes in hot astrophysical plasmas, such as supernova remnant shocks and the solar corona, from spectra at x-ray-to-infrared wavelengths.
