Marcus Huber received his Ph.D. in 2010 from the University of Vienna. He later worked as a Marie Curie fellow at the University of Bristol and as a Juan de la Cierva fellow at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona and the Institute of Photonic sciences (ICFO). In December 2015, he will move to the University of Geneva as an AMBIZIONE grantee. He also recently received the START-Prize by the Austrian Science Fund to start a research group in quantum thermodynamics. His research interests lie at the interface of quantum information theory and thermodynamics.
