Nicolas Brunner obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Geneva in 2007. After a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Bristol, he has been SNSF Professor in the Department of Theoretical Physics at the University of Geneva since 2012. His research interests lie in the foundations of quantum mechanics, quantum information, and quantum thermodynamics.
