Nils Halverson is an Associate Professor in the Astrophysical & Planetary Sciences and Physics departments at the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 2002, and afterwards pursued postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley. His research focuses on Cosmic Microwave Background experimentation. He is currently collaborating on the South Pole Telescope and POLARBEAR CMB experiments.
