Pietro Massignan is an Assistant Professor at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain. He is also a visiting scientist at Barcelona’s Institute of Photonic Sciences. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark. Massignan works on few- and many-body theories for strongly interacting quantum systems. He also studies topological states emerging in a variety of condensed-matter and photonic systems.
