Richard Schlitz is currently in the final year of his doctorate in experimental physics at the Institute of Solid-State Physics at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany. His main scientific interests include the study of magnetotransport phenomena related to pure spin currents as well as the impact of nontrivial magnetic topology on the magnetothermal and electric transport response.

Spin Current in an Antiferromagnet is Coherent

Experiments show that a spin current moves as a coherent evanescent spin wave through an antiferromagnet layer sandwiched between two ferromagnets. Read More »
