Shenglong Xu is a research assistant professor at Texas A&M University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego, in 2017. He then carried out a three-year-long postdoc at the University of Maryland before joining Texas A&M in 2020. Xu is a theorist interested in designing toy models and numerical methods to study strong-correlation effects in quantum many-body systems that are both in and out of equilibrium.
