Simine Vazire is a professor of psychology at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She received her Ph.D. in psychology at the University of Texas at Austin in 2006. She is also the Editor in Chief of the open access journal Collabra: Psychology and has served as chief or associate editor at seven psychology journals. She is co-founder of the Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science. Her work examines whether and how science self-corrects, focusing on research methods and practices in the (social) sciences, including peer review practices and policies.
