Suman Kulkarni is a PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Pennsylvania. She received a BS-MS degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune. She has a broad interest in network theory, statistical physics, geometry, and their applications to complex systems. Her current work combines these theoretical and computational tools with experimental data to gain insight into biological and soft matter systems.
