Sven Heinemeyer is a Professor at the Instituto de Fisica de Cantabria IFCA-CSIC. He completed his Ph.D. in 1998 at Karlsruhe University in Germany and later worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory, Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, and CERN. His research interests include the theoretical development of the minimal supersymmetric standard model.
A search for evidence of particles predicted by supersymmetry—a favored extension of the standard model—suggests that if the theory is correct, it may be more complicated to discover these particles than previously thought. Read More »
