Sylvain Gigan

Sylvain Gigan is an associate professor at Institut Langevin (ESPCI ParisTech and CNRS) in Paris, France. He completed his Ph.D. in 2004 at Laboratoire Kastler-Brossel at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and École Normale Supérieure in Paris, and later worked in Vienna at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information. Since 2007, his research interests have focused on wave control and wave propagation in complex media, from fundamental aspects to imaging.
