Tongyan Lin is an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Diego. She earned a Ph.D. from Harvard University, and she held a postdoctoral position at the University of Chicago and another joint fellowship with Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and University of California, Berkeley. Her research is centered on particle physics models of dark matter and on methods to test them with observations or experiments. Her interests include a range of dark matter probes, from astrophysical and cosmological searches to accelerator and direct-detection strategies.
