Ulrich Zülicke is a Professor of Physics at Victoria University of Wellington and a Principal Investigator at the MacDiarmid Institute for Advanced Materials and Nanotechnology. After obtaining his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1998, he undertook postdoctoral research at the University of Karlsruhe in Germany and has held permanent academic positions at Massey University in New Zealand from 2003 until 2011. His current research is focused on the theoretical description of mesoscopic and low-dimensional systems, spins in semiconductors, and graphene.
