Christian Roos is a senior scientist at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, Innsbruck, Austria. He received his Ph.D. in physics from the University of Innsbruck and has worked as a Marie-Curie fellow at the Laboratoire Kastler-Brossel at Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris. His current research focuses on trapped-ion based quantum information processing and precision spectroscopy.
