Alexandra Landsman is a group leader at the Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems, http://fast.mpipks-dresden.mpg.de.  She received her Ph.D. in 2005 from Princeton University and worked as a Marie Curie Senior Scientist at the ETH in Zurich. She conducts theoretical research on the interaction of ultrafast flashes of light with matter.
