Alexey Gorlach received an undergraduate degree in theoretical physics from Belarussian State University. He is now an M.Sc. student in nanotechnology and nanoscience at the Technion–Israel Institute of Technology. His research interests span a range of themes in quantum optics and quantum electrodynamics, including high harmonic generation and photon-induced nearfield electron microscopy.

Making Materials Mimic Each Other

A novel framework for controlling many-body systems with external fields shows how two distinct materials could be made to mimic each other or form more exotic materials. Read More »
