Antonio I. Fernández-Domínguez is an Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He received his Ph.D. (Hons.) degree from the same institution in 2009. He was a research associate at Imperial College London until 2014, when he took his current position. He is a recipient of several Spanish, European Union, and private grants and awards, such as the Marie Curie IEF and CIG, the Ramón y Cajal Fellowship, and BBVA’s Beca Leonardo. His research focuses on the theoretical description of light-matter interactions and quantum optical phenomena at the nanoscale, as well as the design and conception of photonic metamaterials.
