Benjamin Rotenberg

Benjamin Rotenberg is a French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) senior researcher at Sorbonne University, France. He graduated in chemistry from École Normale Supérieure in 2004 and received his PhD from the Pierre and Marie Curie University in 2007. After a postdoc at the FOM Institute for Atomic and Molecular Physics, Netherlands, he started at CNRS in 2008. He was a visiting professor at the University of Barcelona, Spain, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Freiburg, Germany, as well as in the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin. His research focuses on multiscale modeling of charged fluids and interfaces, particularly in the areas of energy and the environment, and he develops new methods for numerical simulations.
