Benoit Roman is a senior research fellow at the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), and works at the Laboratory of Physics and Mechanics of Heterogeneous Environments (PMMH) hosted by Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie Industrielle (ESPCI) in France. His research focuses on the nonlinear physics and mechanics of slender structures, and, more recently, on shape-morphing materials.
