Danny Perez is a Staff Scientist in the Theoretical Division of Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in New Mexico, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in physics in 2007 from Université de Montréal in Canada, where he developed models of phase separation kinetics in alloys. He then became a Director’s Postdoctoral fellow at LANL, joining the staff in 2009. His current research focuses on the development of novel computational techniques to investigate atomic-scale rare-event dynamics in materials.
