Hai-Zhou Lu is a Professor of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen, China, where he is a member of Shenzhen Institute for Quantum Science and Engineering and the Department of Physics. His research focuses on quantum transport theories in topological materials and emergent materials under magnetic fields, such as quantum Hall effects, weak localization effects, unconventional superconductivity, and anomalous transport phenomena. He was recognized as an Outstanding Referee by the American Physical Society in 2018. He was awarded the Distinguished Young Scholars Fund by the National Science Foundation of China in 2019.
