James Franson

James Franson received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology and was previously at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. He is now a professor of physics at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC). His research interests include nonlocal interferometry, quantum optics, and quantum communications. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Optical Society of America.
