Jan Berges is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bremen in Germany. He is working on electron–phonon interactions at the interface of first principles and model calculations, with a focus on computational implementation. Since the beginning of his doctoral studies, which he completed in 2020, he has been interested in many-body instabilities—such as charge-density waves and superconductivity—especially in two-dimensional materials.
