Jon H. Eggert

Jon Eggert is group leader for the Dynamic Material Properties group in the High Energy Density Sciences section at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. At LLNL he has worked on coupling laser-generated shock waves into diamond anvil cells to study He, H₂, and D₂ along alternate Hugoniots; ramp wave compression experiments to explore the equation-of-state of materials; phase transitions in shocks and ramp drives; melting of materials, and in situ x-ray diffraction of multi-Mbar solids.
