Juan Carrasquilla is a research scientist at D-Wave Systems. He received his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Italy, and holds an undergraduate degree in physics engineering from the National University of Colombia. Juan held postdoctoral fellowships at Georgetown University and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics. His research is at the intersection of condensed-matter theory, quantum computing, and machine learning.
