Kater Murch received his B.A. in physics from Reed College in 2002 and conducted graduate research at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving his Ph.D. in 2008. He joined the Physics Department at Washington University in 2013.  His main interests are in experimental quantum information and quantum measurement using superconducting qubits.
