Kohei Kawabata received his PhD in physics from the University of Tokyo in 2022. After he was a Gordon and Betty Moore postdoctoral research associate in Princeton University, he joined the faculty at the Institute for Solid State Physics at the University of Tokyo in 2023. His research explores various aspects of condensed-matter physics, particularly fundamental and universal characterization of phases and orders far from equilibrium.
